Would you like to quit smoking for good? There are a range of quit options for you to choose from to set you on your smoke-free journey.

If you want to stop smoking, there are four free services available in Medway that can help :

Support, seven days a week

You’re up to four times more likely to quit successfully with the help of a specially trained stop smoking advisor.

Drop-in sessions are run across Medway and at the Smokefree Advice Centre at 2-2a Railway Street, Chatham, ME4 4JL.

There’s no need to book for the Smokefree Advice Centre sessions:

Smoking in pregnancy

Free eight week course

Blooming Bumps is a free, specially designed eight week course for expectant mums who smoke.

Topics covered from week to week:

  • tips for bonding with your baby, even before they are born
  • smoking and the impact it can have on you and your baby 
  • managing stress and anxiety
  • eating healthily 
  • feeding your baby 
  • first aid for your baby
  • looking after your baby

One-to-one support

There is the option to have one-to-one appointments across Medway, including home visits – this specialist support is free and confidential.
