We are committed to developing a strong clinically-led organisation that puts the needs of Medway residents at the heart of its decisions. Our teams work with partners to provide opportunities for people to access services that help them stay healthy. With your help and involvement, we also decide what health services are available if people become ill. NHS Medway CCG is a group of 55 GP practices from across the Medway towns, responsible for planning and buying local NHS services, serving a patient population of 295,223.

Each week, 30,000 patient consultations are conducted by Medway GPs and associated primary care health professionals. GPs are therefore well-placed to reflect the changing needs and perspectives of the communities they serve. We have a legal duty to have regard to and to promote the NHS Constitution which sets out rights for patients, public and NHS staff and the responsibilities patients, public and staff owe one another to ensure the NHS operates fairly and effectively.
